Bone Group Directors
Hugh Hayes was appointed Non Executive Chairman of Bone Group in November 2006. He rescued top engineering firm Motherwell Bridge from the brink of collapse in 2003. Hugh holds the position of Chairmand and Chief Executive of Motherwell bridge where he succesfully led a management buyout in September 2006.
Henry Gildie joined the Group as Finance Director in February 2007. He is a member of the Chartered Association of Certified Accountants and joined Bone from Barr Limited where he worked as Construction Divisional Finance Director for over three years. Prior to Barr, Henry held various financial roles with Ogilvie Construction, Sim Building Group and Martin Plant Hire.
Colin is Commercial Director of RMJM, UK-based international architects. He is the former Managing Director of Bone Steel and Enob Fire and the past Chairman of the British Constructional Steelwork Association (BCSA). Colin was educated at Loretto School, Musselburgh, Napier University, Edinburgh and London Business School. He was appointed a Non Executive Director in September 2006.
Tony Pedder has over thirty years experience in the steel industry, is a former Chief Executive of Corus and the current Chairman of Sheffield Forgemasters International Ltd. He was appointed Non Executive Director of Bone Group in November 2006.
Ian Dickson is a Partner in the Scottish law firm, MacRoberts. He has over 30 years experience in corporate and commercial law, advising a diverse client base, including public and private companies, banks and institutions. He served for 15 years as a Director of Johnston Press plc.
Ian was appointed as a Director of Bone Group in May 2008.
