Bone Steel was the title sponsor of the Scottish Golf Open
Strokeplay Championship for five years. British Amateur Champion,
Gary Wolstenholme lifted the trophy at Turnberry in June 2003,
which was Bone Steel's final year of sponsoring the event.
Bone Steel is committed to developing Scottish rugby at grass roots level and in 2004 formed the Bone Steelers to compete annually at the Dubai Rugby 7s tournament. The team which is coached by former Scotland rugby captain Andy Nicol has had support from companies such as Highland Spring, Iveco and Corus. |
Bone Steel sponsored the 2005 World
Wheelchair Curling Championship which was held at the Brahead Arena in Glasgow. The tournament which was won by Scotland, featured teams from 14
countries including, England, Wales, Germany, USA and Canada.
