The application of intumescent
coatings are carried out in controlled factory conditions and
monitored by Enob Fire’s 100% quality control system in
line with SCI P160, the recognised industry standard for off-site
applied intumescent coatings.
The process would
typically include:
- Blast Cleaning
- Primer System (where required)
- Intumescent Basecoat Application
- Sealer Coat (where required)
- Site touch up of erection damage and coating of bolt
heads
